Jennifer Broadway, BSN, MS, RN, CHPN

HOSPICE ADMINISTRATOR
Jennifer has been a Registered Nurse for 28 years, with more than 20 years specifically in hospice and home health in senior living. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Science in Administration from the University of North Texas. She is also a certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse and a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Association.
In her role as Administrator, Hospice and Palliative Care, Jennifer directs a team of physicians, nurses, chaplains, nursing aides and social workers, in the comprehensive care of patients. Her hospice and palliative care team is licensed to service in 13 counties in North Texas.

Rev. Dr. Veronica Davis

Hospice Chaplain
Reverend Dr. Veronica (Roni) Davis received both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from SMU. She completed her B.A. in Political Science and her B.B.A in Business Management in 2010 and received her M.Div. from Perkins School of Theology in 2015. In the summer of 2019, she finished her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Development from the University of Texas Arlington.
Veronica has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, USA since 2017 and an Endorsed Chaplain since 2020.

Rev. Raelynn Scott, D.D

Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator
Rev. Scott has been a hospice chaplain for over 18 years. Her pastoral and hospice training is extensive and includes studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, Brite Divinity Seminary, and she holds a Doctorate of Divinity from St. John’s Divinity Seminary in Albany , New York. Rev. Scott also completed ACPE accredited training at John Peter Smith County hospital as a Trauma One ER Chaplain.

Fran Hosseiny, LVN/CWCA

Hospice Quality Assurance Nurse
Fran’s nursing career started in 2005 – including 10 years as a skilled nursing floor supervisor and 10 years with a wound care speciality. Fran received accolades early on earning an award for best nurse and leadership in 2007. Additional training in IV Therapy, hospice nursing and quality assurance expanded her skills.
Buffy

Elizabeth (Buffy) Smith, LMSW

Director, Hospice Care

Following college, Buffy began her career in the Home and Community Services department for Lakes Regional MHMR, where she served as a case manager for the Home and Community Services Medicaid waiver program working with intellectually and developmentally delayed individuals. Upon entering graduate school, she participated in a yearlong internship at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, learning firsthand the benefits, health care, and support services available to military veterans and their families. 

Upon completing graduate school, Buffy transitioned her social work experience into her hospice career in 2013, bringing years of experience to Prominent Hospice and the patients and families she serves. In her role as Director of Hospice, she is second to the Administrator of Hospice and Palliative Care, overseeing the training and management of hospice staff, and directing the interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, chaplains, nursing aides and social workers.  

In her spare time, the wife and mother of two adult daughters spends her time running with friends, being active in her church, and watching movies with her family. 

A native of California, Buffy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Science in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Sam Houston State University, and a Master of Social Work from East Texas A&M University.
